A lot of excitement for your wedding ceremony, sometimes you can get overwhelmed the morning of the wedding with what to do, and not be timely about the very important things you ought to be doing.

In this article we will be looking at some important things to make sure you do on the morning of your wedding ceremony in Cotonou, to help you be effective and start your day right for a  wonderful wedding experience.

To do #1

Say a prayer right after waking up: you want to connect with your spiritual source and be thankful to God for that day, and how far you have come in preparations and planning. Generally being grateful for a successful wedding after all.

Have your bath early/freshen up: have your bath early. Except your wedding starts in mid day, a jacuzzi bath is not advisable. You also want to have a convenient bath and a mouthwash. The last thing you want is to forget to wash your mouth because you were in a hurry on your wedding morning.

Have a quick cell phone with each other:  you want to have a quick cell phone call with each other.  It brings about some more positivity and enthusiasm for the Big joyful day ahead of you both. Say some very sweet things to each other and just be grateful.

Eat light/ have some water: don’t be so overwhelmed or excited about your day to forget not to have a light meal.  You can have your favorite cup of coffee and some toast or noodles, fried rice etc.  It is also important to drink a lot of water to stay hydrated throughout the day. Bring out your favorite water mug and toose some lime in it.

Get into a dance mood with some music: music is really good to set you in an amazing mood on the wedding morning.  Have a playlist of your favorite songs and just vibe to it.

Gift out gifts to bridesmaid and groomsmen: you can also give your bridesmaid and groomsmen some gifts on the wedding morning, to show how much you appreciate their support for your wedding.

Have your chief Bride’s maid prepare some essentials: have your bride’s maid prepare some essentials you might need, to be as close to you as possible. You may give this to your wedding coordinator to hold since he/she may likely be able to carry a bag around, and can be close to you. Essentials such as paper towels, extra safety pins, a bottle of water, electric hand fan, some mint, some flats if necessary, some cash, & hand sanitizers
